“The Glasgow High School Educational Trust has awarded scholarships to myself, my husband, and all 3 of our boys in our pursuit of higher education. We feel very fortunate to have received these gifts from the GHS Educational Trust. The Trusts’ gifts allowed us to further our education and lessened our debt burden upon graduation. Not only do the memorials and bequests to the trust hugely benefit the graduates of Glasgow High School, they also allow the trust to assist the school with large purchases.

“I am forever grateful for the GHS Educational Trust Fund and its support throughout my journey of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. Extra help with finances is crucial when attending any form of higher education. The GHS Educational Trust Fund is a fantastic resource for our local graduates to have access to.”

“I have many fond memories of my high school years at Glasgow High School that set the foundation for continuing my education at Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana, now known as Montana State University-Billings. At that time $500 was huge and paid tuition for a quarter of college. I began my schooling the summer after graduation from high school and graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education. My education has been a rewarding journey, and I have learned every step of the way. It is my time to pay it forward, and it is a blessing to share.”

“After graduating from Glasgow High School in 1998, I had set my professional goals. I also knew that the road to reaching those goals would be a long and expensive one. Scholarships helped me get there. As a college student 20+ years ago, I was the grateful recipient of a Glasgow High School Educational Trust scholarship. I will always be appreciative of the GHS alumni who came before me who had the foresight to establish this trust, the donors who have generously given to it, and the trustees who have faithfully stewarded the assets over the years. You have all made my path, and the paths of hundreds of other recipients, a little bit easier. “

“The GHS Trust Fund offered me the financial freedom to affordably choose my secondary education. The trust fund scholarship aided me through an associates degree at Gillette College and a Bachelors of Science in nursing at the University of South Dakota. Because of the generous gifts provided through the Trust Fund I was able to expand my college search and look at out-of-state programs that fit my interests. The gifts I received allowed me to concentrate on my education with less time spent worrying about how I was going to afford to stay in school. It is a great opportunity, and I encourage others to apply. I am thankful for those who have donated to the Trust Fund, and I hope to someday return the favor by donating to the Trust Fund.”

Zeiger Testimonial Continued.
“My name is Luke Zeiger. I graduated from GHS in 2012. Upon leaving school, I thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I quickly found out that was not the case. After two failed attempts of trying to be a student, I took a year off and worked for a masonry company. I matured a lot that year, and I decided to give college another chance. I had always liked athletics and liked working with kids, so naturally I began to work on my Health Enhancement degree. One year in, I was eligible to apply for the GHS Trust scholarship. I spent 3 years total working on my Health Enhancement degree when I discovered I wasn’t happy, so I pulled up stakes, transferred schools, and started my welding degree. I completed my welding degree and applied to dive school. The gifts from the GHS Trust Fund allowed me to find myself and a career I totally love. I now work for a company where I am a diver and fabricator building docks and other things both above and below the waterline.
I encourage people like myself who aren’t sure what they want to do to apply for the GHS Trust Fund Scholarship. I hope to be in a position one day to pay it forward and donate to the GHS Trust Fund so others like me can pursue their dreams even if they don’t quite know what they are.”
